This opportunity is with a major consultancy who are looking to recruit a senior BI consultant into a senior management position. This is as part of their UK IM practice.

This is not a delivery role, but a strategic BI consulting position.
Our client is particularly interested in an individual's business knowledge and their ability to translate this knowledge into workable strategic BI/IM roadmaps.
They have a particular interest in the following vertical specialisms:
Retail, Travel/transport, central government, health, energy, defence, financial services/banking, insurance.
Technologies of particular interest are: Informatica, Business Objects, Cognos, Microsoft BI (+ sharepoint), SAP BI, SAS and Kalido but this is secondary to business knowledge.
Successful candidates will head up a vertical team with responsibility to deliver consulting services to our client's blue chip client base. Their approach is a consultative one. They would want successful candidates to work at CxO level, working closely with clients over a period of time to help them uncover their IM needs and then to design a BI/IM roadmap. Engagements may be as much as three months before handing over to delivery; perhaps working on the steering committee in the longer term.
Head office is South West of London (and they have offices all over the UK to use as a 'home base') but applicants must be prepared to travel without limitation within the UK. Willingness to undergo UK security clearance
Our client will pay for the right person, ranging from £70K up to £120K basic plus bonus and excellent benefits, dependent on experience.
