BI in the GuardianLast Saturday's special insert on data management in The Guardian has really set me thinking. OK, we all know that information is important in a recession, but for a major newspaper to pubish a 22 page magazine on the subject has really brought it home to me just how mainstream our business area has now become.
It is no secret that 'BI' has a buzz about it these days; on our 'staffing' side of the fence it has become apparent that more and more IT agencies have woken up to the fact and have launched BI 'specialist' desks.
Far from threatened by this at KDR, we are rubbing our hands with glee, because not only are we all BI 'specialists' but we have been so for nearly 6 years, developing our candidate network across a number of BI related areas for all this time.
We are about to embark on a major marketing initiative to get this message across to clients and candidates; after this, not only will you the reader of this article know who we are, but a far wider audience will be aware of the advantage of using a truly specialist recruitment partner.
